The beginning of your business is always the "make or break" period
Relationship Marketing is such a fun, rewarding industry to be in but most people never make it past the "make or break" period.
When you first get started in this industry and everyday you wake up saying to yourself "what the hell am I doing?? This is crazy but I'm so excited about the future". Then at the end of the day you say "who am I kidding, I can't do this. This is nuts!" That is the "make or break" period.
If you start this business and don't have the "intern mentality" for the first 6 months to a year then you're probably going to BREAK, instead of MAKE your business.
My leader always said "be an investigator". For the first year of your business, be an investigator. Learn without complaining. If you feel defeated, reach out to ANYONE in your upline. This is a crucial step. You must walk through your process to make sure you're not doing anything wrong.
How can you expect to do everything perfectly until you get out there and try and try and try again?
Mozart was not a natural genius. He trained his entire life! Marie Forleo, one of my favorite online business coaches answers this question. "Marie, How did you get so famous so fast?" Her answer goes something like this: <In my own words> HA, HA, HA! It took me over 10 years to get to this point and that's 10 years of pure hard work! Then she goes on to explain all her pitfalls and all the training and skill building she had to do before she was even remotely successful.
It's not failing, it's learning!
It IS failing if you quit and never learn what you did wrong in order to improve the next time. It's also quitting if you don't apply what you learned. All I can say is, STOP COMPLAINING, YOU'RE ONLY HUMAN. Why are people so hard on themselves when they start something new? This is the time to be fascinated with your business. Where else can you get free life training by people who have made millions of dollars.
What most people don't understand is that this free training from millionaires can be applied to almost every aspect of your life.
I think it's funny when people say "I believe the business model works but I just don't think I can be successful at it." This always makes me laugh because that immediately tells me that they know they are not coachable. That's usually my signal to move on. I'm looking for positive, coachable people who are willing and excited to change and learn something new (because this is a new experience for everyone who chooses to start a Network Marketing business, no one knows how to do it when they first get started). Thank them for their time and for supporting you and move on.
Go out and claim your abundance check,
Allison
